POST WEDDING | Gown Cleaning + Preservation (Starting at $500 + HST )

Cherish your wedding memories forever with Gibson’s premium gown and preservation service. Our team of experts will meticulously hand-clean and repair your gown before storing it in a museum-grade preservation box to ensure it’s protected for future generations. Due to the number of weddings in 2022, this service is currently taking 12 weeks. 

PRE OR POST WEDDING | Gown Cleaning (400$ + HST)

Does your gown need a freshening up before it makes its way down the aisle? Or want to clean your gown post-wedding and skip preservation? Our team of professionals will clean and package your gown using in-house techniques. Due to the number of weddings in 2022, this service takes up to 10 weeks. 

BRIDESMAID DRESS ($75 & UP + HST)

What’s a wedding without a party? Our bridesmaid dress cleaning service will return your gown cleaned, pressed, and ready to wear. This service takes one week; pricing does not include repairs or alterations

ALTERATIONS – We do not do bridal alterations or gown tailoring. 

While we do have an in-house seamstress, we recommend going to a preferred bridal seamstress for gown alterations.

How long will it take to clean my gown?

The length of cleaning time depends on the complexity of the dress’s fabric and embellishments. Please fill out the form above so we can give you a better idea of the time it will take to clean your wedding gown. 

How will you clean my wedding gown?

The Gibson’s team has specially-trained wedding gown restoration experts who will hand clean your wedding gown, reinforce its seams, and reattach any beads and other embellishments to the wedding dress where needed. Finally, we package your wedding gown in premium quality, acid-free wedding dress box that maintains colour and prevents yellowing to ensure it looks as white as it did on your wedding day. 

 

Will you bleach my wedding gown?

No. More damage can be done to your gown by bleaching it and the bleaching process is far too harsh on the delicate fabrics found in most wedding gowns.

Do I need an appointment to bring in my wedding gown?

An appointment is not necessary. Our team of skilled garment care representatives is experienced to handle all types of gowns. For certain gowns, we may need time to speak with our cleaning team to determine a price estimate and cleaning time. This should take no more than 24 business hours. 

Do you offer wedding gown alterations?
Though we have an on-site seamstress, we think it’s best to leave wedding gown alterations to a bridal professional. We recommend reaching out to the store where you bought your dress, they usually have a list of recommended seamstresses.
